Gudgudee exhibits at the Design X Design 20 under 35 Design Showcase 2017 in New Delhi
2017 started with some great news for Gudgudee. We were chosen as one of the top 20 upcoming designers in India for the 7th Design X Design '20 under 35' exhibition being held at Alliance Francaise de Delhi from January 24 to February 13, 2017. This is the first time that Gudgudee has showcased its work. It was a great learning experience and very humbling to meet inspiring young talents from across the country at this exhibition. We couldn’t have asked for a better start to the year.
About the Design X Design Exhibition:
The Design X Design Exhibition is an effort to recognise the power of design. It aims to make people aware of the role played by designers and creative communities in changing society. This was the 7th year of this exhibition, and ‘Design X Design Exhibition: 20 under 35’ attempted to highlight the philosophies and aspirations of twenty designers under the age of thirty-five.
Gudgudee's installation, "Say Hello "
At the exhibition, we created an interactive installation called “Say Hello”, a simulation of the telephone pipes that we build in the playgrounds we design. Our exhibit allows visitors to interact, play and explore it further, thus bringing alive a child-like enthusiasm among them.

The event was thrown open to visitors after an memorable opening ceremony on 24 January. The ceremony began with the event's founder, Mr. Iftikhar-mulk Chishti, talking about the concept and philosophy behind the Design X Design exhibition.

Following his talk, all the 20 participants were introduced by the host. They then spoke about their work and design philosophies. Hearing these talented individuals speak about their love for design was a great moment. It was an evening of interaction with our fellow participants, industry veterans and designers.

The closing walk is scheduled to happen on the 13 February at 6 p.m. During the closing ceremony all the participants will be taking the visitors through their exhibits and will explain the concepts behind them. Hope to see you there....
